Yes, but by registering with edFringe you can get access to more areas such as joining mailing lists, and posting to the message boards. Your details won't be used for any other purpose.

Logging In

Q. Will I need to login every time to the site?
When you register you are asked if you would like a cookie to be placed on your computer. If you say yes, you will not need to logon to the site again unless you use a different computer to access your details.

Q. What if I don't accept the cookie?
Just put you username and password into the "login box" if you want access to the members only areas.

Password

Q. What if I have forgotten my password?
Click here or click on the "trouble logging in" link in the "login" box. In both instances you will be asked to enter your email address. A reminder email will be sent out to you within 2 hours.

Q. What type of internet set-up does your site support?
Our site is optimised for Versions 5 and above of Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape 4.7 and above browsers. The site has also been optimized for a screen size of at least 800 x 600 pixels. We recommend that you enable graphics and cookies in your browser set up, as they are integral to navigating the site.

The following minimum requirements are recommended for viewing edfringe.com:

Q. Is it safe for me to use my credit card in the fringe shop?
Our secure socket layer software (SSL) is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information including your credit card number, name and address. This encryption ensures that nothing can be read as it travels over the Internet.

Most banks or credit card providers either cover all charges resulting from unauthorized use of your credit or limit your liability to 50 U.K. Pounds. Check your credit card agreement to check your coverage for liability.

Mailing Lists

Q. How do I unsubscribe from one of the mailing lists?
Simple! Log in to the site and go to your "My Fringe" section, uncheck the relevant boxes and press "update".

VAT

Q. Is VAT always included on all shop items?
The price shown in the shop includes VAT where applicable, eg books do not have any VAT element. If you are ordering from outwith the UK we are required by law to collect VAT on orders dispatched to most countries within the European Union.

Payment Methods

Q. What methods of payment do you accept?
edfringe.com accepts VISA, MasterCard, Switch/Solo and Delta debit cards. At present we are unable to accept American Express and Diners Card.

Charging

Q. Will I be charged for my order when the order is placed?
Your credit card will only be debited as your order or individual items from your order are dispatched.

Delivery

Q. How long will it take to get my order delivered?
There are a few factors that determine how fast you will receive your order. If all the products you want are in stock and you place your order by 1:00 PM GMT, Monday to Friday, your order will be shipped to you by the end of the business day. We do not ship orders at the weekends. Depending on the day of the order, you could have your order the next business day or within 2-5 working days.
