Bring Your Show to the Fringe

If you are looking at bringing a show to the Fringe, first please read our General Information document. You will find additional detailed information on our Downloads and Factsheets page, and you can email any questions to participants@edfringe.com.


Dates

The following important dates have been confirmed for shows coming to the Fringe in 2010:

  • Monday 1 March: show registration opens
  • Friday 19 March: discount registration deadline
  • Wednesday 21 April: final registration deadline for listings to appear in the printed Fringe Programme

The Programme will be launched in early June; the festival itself runs from 6 to 30 August.


Fees

We are pleased to announce that the registration fees for 2010 are staying the same as last year. (Please note, though, that VAT went back up to 17.5 % in January.) The 2010 fees are as follows:

  • Full run (three or more performances)
    Discount fee (register by 19 March): £246.00 (£289.05 inc VAT)
    Standard fee: £328.00 (£385.40 inc VAT)
  • Limited run (one or two performances)
    Standard fee: £80.00 (£94.00 inc VAT)

Please note that there is no discounted fee for limited-run shows.


Roadshows

The Fringe Roadshows are a chance to meet Society staff, festival participants and venues in person, find out more about how the Fringe works and ask your questions. We have now confirmed dates for five cities, and we hope you'll be able to join us in at least one of them!

Media Roadshows

The Fringe Media Roadshows are designed for participants coming to Edinburgh this August and offer specialist advice on how to sell your show in the biggest arts marketplace in the world. Join us and our panel of industry professionals to hear about developing an effective marketing strategy, how you should target press and media and how best to make use of your Fringe opportunity to gain maximum exposure.
