We are delighted to announce that the Venue Access Award scheme has been a great success this year, with 33 different venues now achieving at least one level of the award. The Venue Access Award assists venues to improve access to their spaces, for example by focusing on increasing the availability of access information for audiences and performers, increasing the number of accessible performances and providing staff training.

The Fringe Society would like to congratulate all venues who have taken part in the scheme and look forward to more venues doing so in the future. We would also like to provide a special congratulations to Dance Base for being the first venue to achieve all three levels of the award!
