Nominations are now open to stand for election to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society’s Board of Directors.

The Board is elected by members of the Fringe Society and is legally responsible for ensuring that the Society fulfils its charitable objectives in line with its constitution.

In order to stand for election to the Board you need to be a member of the Fringe Society and two fellow members need to nominate and second you. There are three categories in which you can stand for election:

  • Participants – anyone involved in bringing a show to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe that is registered for the 2019 Fringe.
  • Venues – anyone representing any venue registered for the 2019 Fringe.
  • Open – anyone interested in standing.

To support our diversity and accessibility policies, the Fringe Society is encouraging nominations for candidates from disabled and Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) candidates.

All nominations must be received, in hard copy, by the Society at 180 High Street by 12:00 noon on Thursday 18 July 2019.

The Fringe Society is a membership organisation and is open to all. In order to vote in the election to the Board of Directors, you must be a member of the Fringe Society.
