Winner of the Stage Special award announced

Performer, writer and director Chris Goode, whose solo show Men in the Cities is running at the Traverse Theatre at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe, will be recognised with the Special Award as part of The Stage Awards for Acting Excellence at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
The prize, given to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the awards, celebrates sustained excellence at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Goode will be presented with the prize and take part in a public Q&A at:
Cabaret Bar, Pleasance Courtyard, Edinburgh at 10am, Friday August 22
He will be interviewed by Honour Bayes, critic and member of The Stage’s six-strong Edinburgh reviewing/ judging team. The event will finish at 11am. It is non-ticketed and open to the public.
