BUG hosted by Adam Buxton has been named the winner of this year’s Zebra Award for Best Poster Design.

The striking yet simple poster image beat off competition from many others to win the seventh annual award.

The runners up were the poster for comedian Alistair Green show on his kidney disease Outpatient and Recursion, the thrilling story of an amnesiac playwright by Olsson Theatre.

Nigel Harper, a director of Dupliquick, said, "This is the seventh year we’ve run this Award and there were more entries than ever this year. The standard was extremely high again with many quite dark and macabre designs.

Dupliquick would like to thank every Fringe company that submitted entries and the Fringe itself for their continuing support. We have decided to continue the Awards for 3 more years, recession permitting!"

The annual competition, which has been running since 2004, is open to all Fringe performers and offers a cash prize of £250 for the winner as well as £250 worth of printing for the winner and two runners up.

BUG hosted by Adam Buxton bills itself as a blend of film, music and comedy from the well known comedian and radio presenter. The poster won after meeting the judges’ criteria of being eye-catching, informative and marketable.
