Interested in covering the Edinburgh Festival Fringe as a member of the media? We are delighted you are planning to do so – every year our office accredits hundreds of journalists from all over the world who flock to Edinburgh to experience and review an amazing diversity of performance work.

There are six different types of media who we accredit:

  • Reviewers
  • General Media
  • Bloggers
  • Photographers
  • Broadcasters
  • Award judges

If your accreditation application is successful it will include a commitment for you to send links to your reviews to the Fringe Society Media Office at media@edfringe.com when they are published, in order for them to be posted on the relevant show page of tickets.edfringe.com.

All applicants should attach a scanned letter of validation from their editor, producer or webmaster, on headed paper outlining what they intend to cover at the Fringe.

Alternatively, the appropriate editor, producer or webmaster can email accreditation@edfringe.com with the information from an appropriate professional email account.
