In this one-act play, a young woman in a liminal space confronts a series of famous men whose poor adaptations of Lolita have done Nabokov's story, and women at large, a great disservice. Vixen's Vortex

Three professors attempt to understand the story of Abraham’s call to sacrifice his son upon Mount Moriah. Fear and Trembling is an original dramatic adaptation of Søren Kierkegaard’s 1843 treatise by the same name, which the father of existential philosophy prized as his most perfect work. Split between the modern academic scene and the land of Canaan, 2000 BC, the tragicomedy contends with faith, love, and the absurd by telling and retelling scripture’s most harrowing legend. After a sold-out run at Yale University, the original company will perform at the Alba Theatre from August 20th to 24th.

Confused and comical, Louis's sad but relatable story questions gender norms, and how not knowing what you are isn’t such a problem if you know who you are. This show is a rewrite of Louis's 2024 Free Fringe show of the same name.
