Cabaret with Pitchcraft

This acrobatic show features a thrilling, story-driven circus experience with a dynamic use of props, including the Cyr wheel, scrolls and aerial techniques. This is a family-friendly acrobatic performance featuring world-class, award-winning professional artists. After enlightenment, Wukong lives as a modern man with a new mission: to use Taoism to help those in pain. At Eclipse Cafe, he meets a grieving mother, struggling men and a lost writer. As he helps them, he also learns to face himself.

Dynamic Earth presents a mesmerising Planetarium show set to Pink Floyd’s 1973 album The Dark Side of the Moon. Stunning 360° visuals of the Solar System transform the space into a surreal journey through sound and light. This immersive experience fuses science, art and music – offering fans and first-time visitors a fresh way to enjoy the iconic album.

Embark on a stellar adventure with Whisky Under the Stars, an unforgettable tasting experience in Dynamic Earth’s 360° Planetarium. Guided by in-house astronomers Dr Alastair Bruce and Antonia Newell, journey through the Solar System and discover the surprising links between whisky and space. Holyrood Distillery enhances the evening with three exceptional whiskies: Embra, Ambir and Pitch. Sit back, relax and savour a dram in a setting like no other. Note: Two whiskies will be served in the Dome, with the third in our immersive Rainforest Gallery.

Whisky Under the Stars

This show integrates elements of physical theatre, dance, acrobatics and drama, unfolding its performance through diverse perspectives and forms. The production transforms traditional circus disciplines – such as combined acrobatic strength routines, horizontal bar, rings, German wheel, juggling balls and diabolo – and reinterprets these conventional circus styles through the language of dance. Using a new artistic vocabulary, it delves into the exploration of our inner worlds.

Join Parenting Across Scotland and Cyrenians Scottish Centre for Conflict Resolution as they delve into the issues households can face when generations within a family enter their change of life at the same time. Joined by Lyndsay Harrison, General Nurse Practitioner and founder of Workplace Menopause Support, we’ll break down what’s going on in perimenopausal and teenage bodies and brains – and how to return the House of Hormones to peace.
