Edinburgh Central Mosque and Islamic Centre is the largest mosque in Edinburgh, located in the middle of the capital city. It was opened in 1998, and it remains one of the few purpose-built mosques in Scotland.

Every year at Fringe time, Edinburgh Central Mosque opens its doors to host the Islam Festival. Come and visit the Exhibition, explore the iconic Mosque (one of Edinburgh’s landmarks) and enjoy a cuppa and a conversation with our friendly volunteers.
