A building in the New Town, which hosts photographic exhibitions and is the home of Edinburgh Photographic Society. In August each year, the building hosts the Edinburgh International Photography Salon and other photographic exhibitions. There are three steps up from the pavement into the hall. Exhibitions are in the ground floor, basement (stairs) and first floor (stairs). There are no parking restrictions outside on Saturday and Sunday.

Edinburgh Photographic Society's first international photography exhibition was shown in 1861. This is the 161st running of this prestigious international print exhibition. A panel of invited judges select around 160 of the best photos from thousands entered. Entry is open from March until June. We have two categories: Mono and Colour, with up to four entries in each. Any genre is eligible. Images must originate as captures by light and the copyright owned by the submitting photographer. A printed A4 colour catalogue is included in the entry fee. Entry includes another two exhibitions.

A collaboration between charity Haemochromatosis UK and Pulitzer Prize winning photojournalist Cathal McNaughton, exploring the diverse range of experiences of people affected by genetic haemochromatosis (iron overload disorder). Everyone has a story: some happy, others sad. But every story is real. We Are Overloaded.
