The Eric Liddell Community is a registered charity. The core work of the Eric Liddell Community is a specialist day-care service for people with a diagnosis of dementia and a variety of projects which offers services for carers.

From his sporting achievements to the lesser-known story of his life in China, this exhibition celebrates the Flying Scotsman and his enduring legacy. Visit this free exhibition to honour his remarkable story that's still inspiring generations today.

Tom McNab returns to give rare insights into the making of the famous Oscar-winning film, Chariots of Fire. Tom was technical advisor on the project and helped bring the stories of famous athletes, Eric Liddell and Harold Abrahams to life. Eric Henry Liddell – The Legend, the Legacy and Inspiration 

A free, hands-on exhibition featuring a collection of wooden machines which demonstrate the fascinating and often bewildering motion of mechanisms. Old-school, hand-driven mechanics: gears, cams, levers…those twisty bits… all working together to produce interesting and sometimes amusing effects. You’ll see drawing machines, which produce elaborate patterns. Just turn the handle to make your own unique artwork to take away. There are Automata depicting the secret activities of our favourite hedgerow inhabitant, the hedgehog. Sport, music, juggling… who knew? Not forgetting the ball runner machines, which propel lots of balls around in all sorts of crazy ways.
