The Counting House has been a free venue for over a decade, and is one of the largest free venues in Edinburgh, with six rooms between this venue and its sister venues 32 Below and The Pear Tree every day from 10:00 to 03:00. There's a massive outdoor courtyard, four bars, a full restaurant food selection and giant outdoor screen. What better place could you hang out during the Fringe?

Family workshop suitable for children aged 3-7 with parents or carers, but all welcome to participate in whatever way they feel capable. We involve everyone; skip, clap and march together to traditional Scottish music. Enjoy simple (often simplified) dances that you might find at a ceilidh or Scottish country dance. Hugely popular with local families, now it's your turn. Bring mum or dad along to partner you under the chandeliers! Children should be accompanied by an adult who is willing to join in; one adult can dance with two children.

Dave Chawner: Mental

Malcolm Hardee Award winner KATG returns to the Fringe with a set of greatest (minor internet) hits of cheerfully offensive comedy songs to prove you CAN say anything anymore, provided it's set to a Casio backing track. After scoring five top 20 singles so far this decade, including: Boris Johnson is a Fucking Cunt and Prince Andrew is a Sweaty Nonce, and releasing Shannon Matthews: The Musical… The Movie, this show sees Kunt and the Gang going back to where it all began – synthpop, swearing and celebrity paedos. Not for the easily offended.

The diminutive New-Jersey-turned-London comedian (as seen at The Comedy Store) tackles the big problems of being a small woman in a world built for the average man – two things she definitely isn’t. Gold’s 2024 debut garnered 4-star reviews: 'Witty, engaging... the perfect mix' (TheatreAndArtReviews.com). Her second hour is more ambitious, finding laughs in everything from being ‘fun-sized’ to the absurd inequalities of the built environment, with a surprising amount of material about loos. She’s got tall girl energy – whatever the hell that is – and (finally) isn’t afraid to use it.

How do you recover from heartbreak or loss when you are an autistic depressed little slug? This triple-A comic (Alternative, Autistic and Award-winning (Keep It Fringe 2023)) reflects on this conundrum like the irredeemable clown that he is. Nominated for the Malcolm Hardee Award for Comic Originality and the Actually Autistic Excellence Award, who knows what this horrid gastropod has in store (possibly an exorcism on himself?). Moving On... Really, Really Slowly

Yes-Ya-Yebo! is a celebration of the 12 official languages of South Africa, expressed through song and dance, all imbued with a unique township vibe! From the rhythmic acapella beats of the Gum Boot dance and the soulful Click Song to the electrifying modern hit Calm Down and the 'just you try and NOT get up to dance' joyous hit Jerusalema – all with an exciting twist. Yes-Ya-Yebo! brought to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival by The Imibala Trust, received incredible reviews in 2023 and 2024. If you missed out on the last two years, now is your chance!
