Mark Stringer
How do we get what we want? When we get it, will we really want it? Mark Stringer's a philosopher, stand-up comedian and project manager. For 15 years he's helped people get what they want. He's been thinking about why giving people what they want is so painful. He's been telling jokes about it to take away the pain. One thing he realised: things and descriptions of things are made of different stuff. How we feel about one isn't a guide to how we'll feel about the other. The biscuit tin isn't the biscuit.
