Bright Side Presents
Breaking the Musical is a parody and unauthorised (but completely legal) telling of an Australian Olympian's journey to the 2024 Paris Olympics, written by Australian comedian and musician Stephanie Broadbridge. Steph leads an ensemble cast in telling the story based on true events as it unfolded across the internet. They tell the inspiring story of a groundbreaking break dancer and new Australian icon who defied the odds to represent Australia at the Paris Olympics. Through a fusion of dance, music and humour, the show captures the highs and lows of a rise to Olympic competition.
