Chloe Dance Collective (UK/China)
This contemporary dance-theatre piece delves into the emotional tension between the yearning for connection and the fear of intimacy in human relationships. Drawing from psychological theories and personal experiences, it explores the ways in which attachment shapes our behaviours and emotional responses blending movement, psychology, and visual storytelling. Fragmented in structure, each section of the piece portrays different emotional moments, conveying the subtle shifts between desire, rejection, fear and longing. This delicate balance between connection and separation creates a rich narrative that invites the audience to reflect on their own experiences with attachment, vulnerability and emotional complexity.
