Emily Briggs, Andreia Simões
Ever wanted to play some mediocre piano but ended up dressed as an environmentalist cow? Garbanzo is a laughter-inducing, matriarchal extravaganza. This 2025 Keep It Fringe Award recipient is for everyone who strives to be the changes they wish to see. Dancing cows! Haphazard piano waltzes! Chocolate oat milk! Nothing is surprising anymore. Performed by Emily Briggs and directed by Andreia Simões, this blend of theatre, stand-up comedy and physical performance is a flagrantly kitschy one-woman show. And, despite all the cattle, Garbanzo is touchingly human. Developed with support from Shetland Arts Development Agency and Access All Arts.
