University of St Andrews Gilbert and Sullivan Society
The St Andrews Gilbert and Sullivan Society lovingly present HMS Pinafore, an operetta telling the story of love crossing class lines aboard a ship – in this version, a dazzling disco cruise liner set in a world of 70s glam and groove. As secrets surface and true identities are illuminated by enchanting party lights, the characters are swept into a chucklesome tide of mistaken motives, romantic entanglements and classic Gilbert and Sullivan confusion. In the end, can love – and groove – level all ranks? Relaxed performance on 20th.
