Halil Caliskan / PBH's Free Fringe
Homesick is the bold debut hour from rising Amsterdam-based Turkish comic, blending deadpan wit, fearless storytelling and dark political satire. 'Halil’s standup is singularly playful, deadpan and imaginative in a way that consistently delights audiences around Europe and will, I think, especially appeal to comedy fans in Edinburgh. He brings an extremely unique point of view and sensibility to his work and is hilarious, razor sharp and not to be missed!' (Derek Mitchell). 'I think Halil is really funny… if you don’t, then we have different tastes.' (Dr. Brown).
