Flow Dance Crew, Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts
Heavenly timing, earthly advantage and human harmony shape the path to success in Chinese tradition. Zhuge Liang’s tale of borrowing the east wind embodies this deep unity between nature and humanity. His calm mind, seizing of opportunity and firm belief continue to inspire today. Based on this story, the work unfolds into six poetic wind realms: Wind Arises, Wind Ceases, Wind Against, Wind With, Wind Swift and Wind Leisurely. May each person, through their journey, borrow their own east wind and ride it toward their aspirations.
