Monkey King is a vibrant adaptation of the classic Chinese tale, following Sun Wukong, the Monkey King, from rebellious trickster to enlightened disciple. His journey begins with a defiant stand against the heavens and unfolds through battles with mythical foes and inner trials. Through dynamic acrobatics, martial arts choreography and magical stagecraft, the performance brings his transformation to life. Celebrating adventure, growth and self-discovery, this visually stunning production captures the heart of a timeless legend and the enduring spirit of one of China’s most iconic heroes.
