David Goodenough
Two trios of Trio Sonatas! J S Bach’s six organ trio sonatas, ebullient and unique in their difficulty and musical perfection, played in two concerts by David Goodenough on the sublime Frobenius Opus 1000 organ in Canongate Kirk on the Royal Mile. These sonatas require the hands to play independent melodic lines on separate keyboards, whilst the feet play the basso continuo. Hear these masterpieces of the organ repertory in the inspiring surroundings of Canongate Kirk.
