Judy Barker and Sally Thomas
Judy and Sally perform traditional and contemporary folk music and songs on Scottish smallpipes and English concertina. Their playing explores how these two very different instruments can complement and support each other and Judy’s vocals, whilst also maintaining the integrity and essence of traditional music. Drawing on a wide range of sources from across the UK, their focus is on finding songs and tunes which show these two instruments at their best, both individually and together.
