The Margaret Sinclair Story

19:25United Kingdom - Scotland
Performer / Performance company

AGAP Theatre (Scotland)

The inspiring true story of the cheerful Edinburgh factory girl with a big heart for Jesus and for helping others, who could be Scotland's next canonised Saint. This down-to-earth model of everyday sanctity is brought vividly to life onstage by Rachel Callaghan – her actual living relative (second cousin). Stephen Callaghan's funny and moving play was first performed at the 2016 Fringe in the Edinburgh church where the venerable Margaret's body is interred and he directs the revival marking 100 years since her death. 'The response of the audience lining the pews… is undeniable' (Scotsman).
