WStar Arts Company and ECAA by Edinburgh
This 50-minute silk-road reverie unites Chinese and UK-based artists in transcultural collaboration. Witness Tang Dynasty choreography reborn through celestial chimes and embroidered silks, performers will reconstruct palace rituals and poetic movements. The experimental staging dissolves temporal boundaries – bronze bells dialogue with electronic soundscapes, while traditional sleeve techniques merge with contemporary physical theatre. Culminating in an interactive finale, audiences will learn ceremonial gestures and simple dance motifs, transforming spectators into participants of this living heritage. More than a performance, it's an immersive cultural dialogue where 9th-century Chinese court elegance awakens within Scotland's avant-garde heartbeat.
