Polly Toynbee / The Stand Comedy Club
Humanists UK presents another instalment in its Conversations with the Godless series, featuring a discussion between chief executive Andrew Copson and the influential journalist and broadcaster Polly Toynbee. For decades, Toynbee's columns in The Guardian have been instrumental in shaping progressive discourse, and this conversation will focus on the critical areas of secular politics, social inequality and the future of public services. From campaigning against the proliferation of religious state schools, to the legalisation of assisted dying, it's guaranteed to address some of the hard hitting questions of today.
