Susie McCabe / The Stand Comedy Club
When Susie McCabe downed her electrician’s tools to commit full-time to becoming a comedian, the construction industries loss was stand-up comedy’s gain. Originally taking on the role of comedian as a dare, Susie has by now already garnered a variety of awards including the highly prestigious Sir Billy Connolly Spirit of Glasgow Award in 2024 with the Big Yin himself declaring ‘I was blown sideways’. If you’ve ever seen Susie perform live, you’ll understand why. She’s a constantly in-demand stand-up, writer, prankster and darkly funny podcaster. Interviewed by Philip Differ.
