Two Parachutes
Adam, a social media moderator, witnesses a man kill himself on a livestream. Haunted by his numb reaction, he spirals into a reckoning with his own desensitisation. On a night out with his oldest friend, Ben, they confront brutal questions: What if we’re not the good people we desperately hoped we were? At what point does that begin to affect our relationships with each other? This fearless new writing grapples with a defining modern insecurity: in a world where tragedy is constant and compassion fades, how do we hold on to our humanity?
