Edib Farhan
Your healing goes back seven generations – and so do your f*ck-ups! In their laugh-out-loud debut solo show, Edib Farhan navigates exile from Syrian dictatorship, gender confusion and sketchy situationships, guided by their ancient desert ancestor. The show is a heartfelt tribute to the core ideals of the Syrian revolution and also a look inside one very unhinged diasporic Syrian’s mind. Weaving between stand-up, clown and character, Edib’s performance takes audiences on a journey through the full spectrum of human experience – the profound, profane and delightfully cheesy. Special opening poetry reading by Dr Banah el Ghadbanah.
