An intimate new drama written and performed by Lauren Barrie and Ben McGuinness. Premiering at the Edinburgh Fringe 2025, the play explores the messy truths of human connection: friendship, grief, guilt, love and everything in between. Inspired by contemporary classics like Normal People and One Day, Almost Everything follows the intertwined lives of three people, Charlie, Becca and Emily, as they confront the emotional weight of missed chances, tangled relationships and the lies we tell ourselves to keep going. This highly personal debut marks a homecoming for Glasgow-born Ben McGuinness, and a professional milestone for co-creator Laura.
