From banking to tailoring, from making lingerie for strippers to working as a film extra, and finally becoming a maths teacher who teaches sewing, this solo storytelling show follows one man’s determined leap into a creative life. Low-tech and intimate, this sharp, funny story retraces those first steps through fashion studios, film sets and underfunded classrooms. Told through real garments made along the way, it’s a fast, funny and heartfelt hour about connection, friendship and the search for meaningful work, rooted in the lived experience of going all in on creativity and discovering what truly matters.
