In the darkness of night, scholar and monster hunter Van Helsing arrives at Purley Sanatorium hot on the trail of an ancient demon. Within the walls of the sanatorium dark visions are seen and bad dreams disturb the sleep of the sane and madmen alike. In the shadows a restless evil stirs, wearing the face of an angel of light.
