Sophia Wren
Sophia, 'main character of the world,' remembers a teenagehood spent fantasizing about injuries that would earn her the attention she craved. Now an adult trapped inside her own damsel-in-distress mythology, her life veers into absurdity when a hurricane in New York City leaves her mysteriously pregnant. Thirteen years later, Sophia faces another adolescence unfolding against a world set ablaze by powerful men and collapsing ideals. A love letter to the Best Girl in the World and an elegy for lost childhood, this story unfolds through Sophia's dark, lyrical, hilariously filthy stand-up comedy.
