A Different Kind of Heartbreak

12:50Austria
Performer / Performance company

Athanasia Kontou

Everyone goes through heartbreak in their 20s but what if you need surgery to fix it? Athanasia was enjoying life, partying with her friends and dating casually to avoid heartache, when she found out she already had two holes in her heart. In this one-woman show, award-winning musician / comedian Athanasia Kontou tells the story of a life-changing heart surgery. Songs about being in pain, jokes about anxiety, and stories from her diary entries coalesce into an authentic, witty and hilarious musical comedy hour about finding strength and resilience in vulnerability.
