Simon Stokes and Ingeborga Dapkunaite
Internationally renowned star of stage and screen, Ingeborga Dapkunaite gives a spontaneous, child's-eye account of three generations of women through a hundred turbulent, Lithuanian years. As Grandad Stasys used to say: 'You should speak the languages of your neighbours because you never know who's going to march in and when'. Joyful, haunting and evocative. Taking the lead in the Oscar winner, Burnt By The Sun, Ingeborga has made over a hundred films. She has played major theatres in Europe, the USA, Russia, Australia, several in London's West End and elsewhere.
