Sheena Jardine and Stephen Doughty
Sheena Jardine and Stephen Doughty are delighted to be returning to the Fringe once again with a vibrant programme of music for violin and piano. The main item, Elgar's sumptuous Violin Sonata, is paired with a new work by Edinburgh composer John Glenesk Mortimer, featuring jazzy rhythms and sparkle. Alongside some popular Kreisler pieces, plus The Fiddler's Farewell and Mr. Menuhin's Delight by Glasgow composer Eddie McGuire, the programme will be rounded off with the drive and panache of Kabalevsky's Rondo. Enjoy a delightful hour of music with this well-known Edinburgh duo.
