Following her recent breakup, disillusioned with love, life and the patriarchy, Juniper spends her wine-fuelled evenings pouring her heart out to strangers. What could be worse: a hideously awkward hook-up (who, despite his claims, is really not six-foot-two), a disastrous blind date, or an encounter with a misogynist explaining to Juniper exactly why she is ‘oppressed’? Despite the pleas of her best friend – the yoga-loving, herbal tea-drinking, crystal-worshipping Maddie – to ‘trust the universe’, Juniper is sceptical. Humorous, heartfelt, and relatable to just about anyone who’s had the misfortune of experiencing the modern dating scene.
