Nicholsons Upstage
Step into a vibrant cabaret where the ancient myth of the Minotaur is reinterpreted through the eyes of Ariadne. As she unravels the truth behind the twisted legacy she’s inherited, she dares to challenge the myths that uphold patriarchal control. No mere bystander, she is a force of change, navigating the labyrinth of power, truth and identity. Driven by a genre-blending score and powerful, poetic storytelling, both psychological and political, this production transports audiences into a living labyrinth and invites them to question the stories we accept, systems we uphold and who really controls the narrative.
