Allegory is a surreal, deeply personal hour about locating one's identity in the tangled constellation of colleagues, family, and friends... while caring for a metaphorical (and possibly real) pet octopus with digestive issues. With themes circling immigrant parenthood, working-woman hustle, and the illusion of freedom, Vaidyanathan's latest work is fast-paced, fearless, and playfully philosophical.
