Stefan Warzycki
Pianist Stefan Warzycki presents a programme of rarely heard works by masters of the art of composition for the left hand alone from the 19th to the present century, opening with the Arabesque and Mozartino from Yoshimatsu's Ainola Lyrical Ballads, continuing with studies by Moszkowsky, original pieces by Godowsky (famed for his spectacular arrangements of Chopin's Etudes), the fiendish Toccata of Franz Schmidt, and featuring Gryaznov's amazing transcription of the Adagietto from Mahler's 5th Symphony.
