Carmel Page / PBH's Free Fringe
Would you rather fish in an empty bucket or plant bombs to get unionisation? Attercliffe Stupid Club is relaunching. Storyteller Carmel Page tells the funny and true(ish) history of this outrageous Victorian club whose satirical members rode asses backwards and made bunting from carrots during a time of terrorism. Long ago they were frequently mentioned in the Houses of Parliament. They only got forgotten because the members always read their minutes backwards, rescinded them and burnt them on the fire. Are you stupid enough to join? Beware, ethical conundrums and a Teddy Bear Fight with the audience.
