Bluebell Swing
An unforgettable evening of rhythm and romance as beloved jazz standards are brought to life. Inspired by the timeless spirit of Django Reinhardt and the golden age of swing, this five-piece ensemble transports you to the 1930s. At the heart of the band is Maria Townsley, whose expressive vocals glide effortlessly from smoky ballads to upbeat swing. Dick Lee adds colour on clarinet, weaving intricate lines and playful flourishes. Guitarists Iain McNally and Ronan Toal provide driving rhythm and sparkling solos, capturing authentic gypsy jazz sound. Superb Steve Jack anchors it all with a warm, thumping double bass.
