At the heart of the band is Maria Townsley, whose expressive vocals glide effortlessly from smoky ballads to upbeat swing. Dick Lee adds colour on clarinet, weaving intricate lines and playful flourishes. Guitarists Iain McNally and Ronan Toal provide driving rhythm and sparkling solos, capturing authentic gypsy jazz sound. Superb Steve Jack anchors it all with a warm, thumping double bass.
