Alina Konon
Brainwashed is a dark comedy clown show about growing up under dictatorship in Belarus. Born in the Soviet Union and raised in a country shaped by authoritarian rule, award-winning comedian Alina Konon transforms her personal history into a surreal and playful exploration of propaganda. Through absurd games, physical comedy and soup making, the show reveals how ideology quietly shapes everyday behaviour. Through clown, storytelling and political humour, Brainwashed invites audiences into a mischievous experiment that exposes the strange logic of life under dictatorship.
