Ben Loftus, Cam Pileggi
A codependent lesbian couple getting divorced must decide custody of their son: a dog-human-genetic-experiment-gone-horribly-right. Bumpo is a comedy about family and failure, and a tragedy about where hope can take you. And best of all: Bumpo is a life-sized puppet! Bumpo is co-written by Ben Loftus and Franny Weed; Loftus also directs. Starring sketch-comedians/actors Mahalet Tegenu (Eileen) and Franny Weed (Sam) as delusional divorcées; puppeteer Chris Palmieri (Bumpo) as their inappropriate and affectionate son; and stand-up/actor Cameron Bradford (Davey) as their wacky neighbour. Produced by Loftus, Zachary Harrison Poli, and Cam Pileggi.
