Edinburgh Food Safari
Why are there painted windows in The New Town? Find out over a three-hour guided walk through the UNESCO 200-year-old New Town. Starting with a glamorous Scottish gin cocktail and smoked salmon and avocado canapes in an 18th-century cool cocktail bar, taste three ports matched with East Lothian-made chocolate in Scotland’s oldest wine merchant, then homemade soup served from a Victorian police box, a scoop of Perthshire gelato – brown butter or Scottish strawberry? And finish with a single malt whisky from a speakeasy bar.
