Carolyn Castiglia / PBH's Free Fringe
New York comedian Carolyn Castiglia lost her maternal grandparents to a murder-suicide when she was 18 years old. Combining hilarious stand-up and heartbreaking reflection, CHUCK is a true crime comedy about guns, violence, sexual abuse, the Catholic Church, the US military-industrial complex, woodchucks and figure skating. Everything that makes America great! CHUCK takes you on a wild and wise ride that will leave survivors and non-survivors alike feeling less alone, more hopeful and fully empowered. CHUCK won Best Comedy Off-Broadway at Theatre Row at the Spring 2024 United Solo Festival. CHUCK is 'preposterous and profound', and 'unforgettable' (AllAboutSolo.com).
