Darren Gaffney / Scottish Comedy Festival
Born in rural Ireland, in the often-forgotten Irish County of Cavan – 20 minutes from the border with Northern Ireland. Gaffney grew up on Irish farms where the hardcore Irish ways of GAA, religion and drinking were instilled in him from an early age. A life of mad events and crazy Irish characters, his debut headline show The Full Gaffney sees him describe, rant, shout and laugh at his life as a 28 year-old "redneck culchie" from Ireland's quiet yet mental countryside. Sold-out solo run at Whelan's, Ireland.
