Burning Building Productions
Two hapless funeral directors, Eulogine and Wake, attempt to teach audiences the art of a perfect funeral – if only they knew how. As their carefully laid plans unravel, the pair stumble through a series of increasingly absurd mishaps, exposing the strange rituals, expectations and performances that surround death. Blending dark comedy and heartfelt storytelling, this original production explores grief, remembrance and what it means to say goodbye. Inspired by personal experiences of bereavement and research with professional funeral directors, Dead Prepared invites audiences to laugh, reflect and find connection in one of life’s most universal experiences.
