Need a break from the crowds but still want the Fringe experience? The Pend is a tiny secret cinema hidden just off the Royal Mile. Screening daily is Freewheelin in the Riff Dimension ahead of its worldwide release. Set against the sprawl of the Edinburgh Fringe, this one-hour observational documentary features Unspecials – the gigs where comedians aren't set up for success – how the Fringe creates space for experimentation and its urban legends. Directed by Laura McMahon (BAFTA Crew, BBC Three, Edinburgh TV Festival New Talent Award-winner).
