Yola Jean Lu
Yola Jean Lu is what some might call, kinda dumb. And honestly that's fine. But when you're also dumb, and Asian, that's when people start to wonder: what happened to them? Asians are often seen as being "model minorities" in society, and it can often times be a really harmful stereotype. This show is filled with jokes about all the times Yola has been dumb – to prove to everyone that yeah, Asians can be dumb and underachieving and we should normalise this because at the end of the day, we're all human.
